Kao što već znate ovo je bila Filipova tortica sa kojom smo proslavili njegov 13. rođendan. Knjige predstavljaju uspešan završetak školske godine i predmete iz kojih je bio na takmičenju.
Na početku, torta je bila zamišljena od dve knjige, ali kao što to obično kod mene bude, sve se menja u hodu. Kada sam stavila ovu drugu, žutu knjigu videla sam da sam pogrešila što je nisam napravila manjom u odnosu na ovu braon, pa sam tako odlučila da napravim i treću knjigu koja je bila u veličini rečnika. Eeee,kad sam stavila i nju, već je ličilo na torticu koja mi se sviđa:))
Sve tri torte su bile Plazma torta i nju sam namenski uradila baš za decu,jer znam da im je omiljena. Za svaku knjigu je otišlo:
600 gr mlevene plazme
100 gr mlevenih oraha
200 gr čokolade
200 gr šećera u prahu
250 gr margarina
2 jaja
200 ml frutele ili nekog drugog gaziranog soka sa ukusom narandže
Prvo sam dva kartona veličine 21 x 27 cm obložila sa aluminijumskom folijom. Morala sam da im napravim postolje da bi ih lakše prenosila i to mi je bio pun pogodak. Napravljenu smesu za plazma tortu ravnomerno sam rasporedila i nožem izravnjala ivice. Levu dužu stranu knjige sam zaoblila.
Obe knjige sam u tankom sloju premazala sa butter kremom.
Butter krem:
125 gr putera
200 gr šećera u prahu
3 kašike mleka
Butter krem : Umutite puter sa šećerom u prahu, a onda dodajte mleko.
Fondan sam napravila po ovom receptu i radila sam ga x 2.
O belog fondana sam napravila tri trakice, bočne ivice torte. Sa lenjirom sam blago pritisnula da napravim linije,tj listove od knjige.
Deo belog fondana obojila sam u braon,a deo u žuto. Na stolu,sa dosta šećera u prahu sam razvila korice za knjige. Pre toga sam izmerila koja mi veličina odgovara i višak fondana isekla. Prebacila sam preko torte s time što sam po 0,5 cm ostavila da mi viri sa tri strane knjige, da liči na ukoričene knjige.
Četvrtu stranu, gde je oblo sam skroz obložila i podvukla fondan ispod knjige nekih 3-4 cm ( znači ne ide fonda skroz ispod, već samo delimično).
Sa makazama sam isekla višak i izravnjala ivice knjige. Od braon fondana sam napravila trakice oko 1,5 cm širine koje sam podvukla ispod torte i predstavljale su donju koricu knjige. Na ovoj slici se vidi da fali još jedna donja korica. Pošto nisam bila zadovoljna braon bojom,jer sam htela tamniju, odlučila sam se da uzmem četkicu u ruke i da je prefarbam sa braon bojom. Braon boja u prahu,par kapi vode i četkica čudo čine :)) Dobila sam već izgled neke knjige kojoj su korice "kožne".
Ostavila sam da se boja osuši, a u međuvremenu napravila žutu knjigu.Sa lenjirom sam ocrtala ivicu sa leve strane (tako sam kasnije napravila i na braon knjizi).
Stavila sam knjigu na knjigu i tu sam uočila grešku sa početka priče :) Onda je bilo, trk u prodavnicu po namirnice i pravljenje trećeg dela torte. Meru za treću tortu sam uzela od Filipovog rečnika za Engleski jezik :) Rečnik sam obložila sa svetlo plavim fondanom.
Na braon knjizi sam uz pomoć četkice i zlatne boje ispisala Fizika i povukla po dve linije sa strane,a na žutoj uz pomoć braon boje napisala Matematika. Najveći strah sam upravo imala kako ću uspeti da ispišem a da mi slova budu ok.
Na rečniku sam ispisala Filipe,srećan rođendan ali tu sam već upotrebila štampač. Papir sa odštampanim tekstom sam stavila na odgovarajuće mesto na torti i onda sam sa tankom iglom vrlo malo bockala po konturama, a kasnije prešla sam bojom.
Uz pomoć četkice i srebrne boje povlačila sam linije po delu gde sam sa lenjirom obeležila listove. Od belog fondana sam napravila jezičak, tj obeleživač stranice, a zatim ga uz pomoć vode zalepila za knjigu i obojila u srebrnu boju. Od belog fondana sam napravila pravougaonik a onda sam ga uvila oko plastične cevi i ostavila u frižider da se stegne i neposredno pre služenja torte skinula sa cevi i postavila na tortu.
Na kraju, svi su bili zadovoljni sa izgledom torte a slavljenik pogotovu :) To što dva dana nisam videla belog dana( ne začunam ono trčanje u prodavnicu po namirnice za treću tortu ) i što sam sve prste obojila, se na kraju isplatilo. Nadam se da će nekom biti od koristi ovaj mini tutorijal kako sam napravila ovu tortu, a za sva pitanja u vezi nje, tu sam :) Ako vam se sviđa moj blog, meni bi mnogo značilo da glasate za njega OVDE ili klikom na donji logo.

As you already might know this was Filip’s cake with which we celebrated his 13th birthday. Books represent successful completion of the school year and subjects in which he competed.
In the beginning, the cake was conceived of two books, but as usually with me, all changes as I begin with work.When I placed the yellow book, I saw that I made a mistake by not making it smaller in comparison to the brown, and so I decided to make the third book, which was the size of the dictionary. Well, when I placed it on top of the others, then it started looking more like a cake I really had in mind.
All three cakes were Plazma Cake , and I made it especially for kids since I know that it’s their favorite.
For each book I used:
·600 gr of ground biscuits ( Plazma)
·100 gr of ground walnuts
·200 gr of chocolate
·200 gr of powder sugar
·250 gr of margarine
·2 eggs
·200 ml of frutele or any other juice with orange flavor
I used two cartoons in diameter 21 x 27 and I lined it with aluminum foil. I had to make cake stand in order to move it easier. I made mixture for plazma cake, spread it evenly and leveled it out with knife. I also rounded a bit left side of the book as shown of photos.
I coated both books lightly with butter cream.
Butter cream:
125 gr of butter
200 gr of powder sugar
3 tablespoon of milk
Butter cream: Beat butter with sugar, add milk.
Fondant was made from recipe on this site, and I also made it twice.From white fondant I made three stripes, for cake edges.
With ruler I slightly pressed onto fondant to make lines (book pages).
I colored part of fondant in brown, and the other part in yellow. On table with lots of sugar I rolled fondant for book covers. Before that I measured what dimension I needed and I cut off all extras. I threw fondant over the cake and left 0, 5 cm to hang over the book which later I tucked under the books (3-4 cm in length). So you do not place fondant over a whole bottom just little portion of it. With scissors I cut off all extra of fondant and leveled the edges of the books. From brown fondant I made strips around 1, 5 cm wide, which I tucked under cake so they resembled bottom cover of the book.
I wasn’t very happy with the brown color I got. I wanted it way darker so I used brush and colored it into richer brown color. I used powdered brown color and few drops of water. So after I was done I got the covers that resembled lather look.
I set it aside to dry, and in the meantime I worked on yellow book. With ruler I marked left edge of the book (which I also made on brown book as well).
I placed books on top of each other and this is where I noticed mistake that I was taking about it at beginning.
I had to run to the store to buy more material and ingredients to make third cake. Dimensions for third cake I used from Filip’s English dictionary. I colored this book in blue. Name of the brown book I wrote with brush and golden shimmering color and named it Physics. On yellow book with help of brown color I wrote Mathematics. My biggest fear was making letters uneven.
On top of the blue book I wrote Filip happy birthday, but for this I used printer. Paper with printed text I placed on top of the blue cake and with a needle I pricked shape of the letters on to fondant. Later I went over the holes with color.
With help of brush and silver color I made lines by retreating parts that I marked with ruler.From white fondant I also made book tab, or page bookmark, and then with water I glued it onto cake and colored it in silver color. From white fondant I made a rectangle and then I wrapped it around plastic pipe and left it in the fridge to harden. Just before serving I took it off the pipe and laid it on the cake.
In the end, everyone was satisfied with the appearance of a cake especially a birthday boy :)
The fact that for two days I haven’t seen a day light (not counting my trip to the store) and the fact that I painted all of my hands, paid off at the end. Ostala sam vam dužna slike postupka kako sam dekorisala ovu prolećnu torticu.
Za one koji ne znaju, fondan sam napravila po ovom receptu.
Fondan sam podelila na pola. U jednu polovinu sam dodala zelenu boju i dobro umesila rukama. Koristila sam wilton boje u gelu, ali pošto kod nas nema da se kupi ova boje,stavite boje u prahu (nemojte tečne). Na radnu površinu stavite šećer u prahu,a onda zeleni fondan. Uz pomoć oklagije razvite koru da bude šira nego što je torta. Ako imate neku plastičnu cev, ona će odlično da vam posluži za razvijanje kore umesto oklagije. Na plastičnu cev se fondan manje lepi nego za drvenu oklagiju.Tortu sam premazala sa buter kremom pa preko njega stavila razvučeni fondan. Višak fondana sam isekla nožem. Butter krem:
120 gr putera
160 gr šećera u prahu
2 kašike mleka
Ostatak fondana sam obojila u razne boje.

Telo od pužića. Kućica(dužina oko 30 cm) Što se tiče cveta, htela sam da mi drška bude debela,ali vi je možete napraviti i tanju. Cvećarsku žicu isecite na određenu dužinu(da bude 2 cm duža u odnosu na visinu torte) pa je obložite sa tamno zelenim fondanom.Od roze fondana napravite manju kuglicu i razvucite je kao na slici.
Obavite oko jednog kraja drške.
Latica
Donji deo latice uz pomoć četkice premažite sa vodom da se bolje zalepi. Pravite latice i stavljajte ih u krug sve dok mislite da treba :) Cvet sam na kraju premazala sa sedefastom bojom da malo ima sjaj. List sam napravila sa modlicom u obliku srca i malo sa nožem napravila žilice.
Ove sitne delova sam razlačica na debljoj i jačoj kesi. Svaku kuglicu za gusenicu sam malo premazala sa vodom da se zalepi za drugu kuglicu. Rogovi su bili od čačkalica. Kada sam stavljala cvet,strana koja ide uz tortu je premazana sa vodom. Onih 2 cm viška od drške sam podvukla pod tortu da budem sigurna da cvet neće da mi padne :))) Crne delove(tufne na bubamari,rogove,oči itd) sam uradila uz pomoć crne boje i četkice.

Cake and decorations made from fondant

For those who don’t know I made fondant from this recipe
I divided fondant in half. I added green color in one part and knead it until it was a workable consistency. I used Wilton color gels, but since you can’t buy these colors here you may use powdered colors (don’t use liquid kind).Lightly dust your smooth work surface and your rolling pin with confectioner's sugar to prevent sticking. Roll out fondant sized to your cake. To keep fondant from sticking, lift and move as you roll. Add more confectioner's sugar if needed.
If you have a plastic pipe you may use it to roll fondant instead of rolling pin. Fondant sticks less on plastic then it does on a rolling pin. Lightly cover cake with butter cream icing. Gently lift fondant over rolling pin and position on cake.Trim off excess fondant using a spatula or sharp knife.
Butter cream:
120 gr of butter
160 gr of powdered sugar
2 tablespoons of milk
I colored rest of the fondant in different colors. This is how I made snails.
As for the flowers, I wanted to have a thick handle, but you can create thinner. Cut flowers wire to a lengths that is 2 cm longer in relation to the height of the cake and overlaid with green fondant.From pink fondant create smaller chip (ball) and stretch like in the picture.
Brush bottom of petal with some water to stick. Keep making petals and keep putting them in circle till you think it’s enough. Brush each petal with pearly luster color to get some shine. I made leaf with cutter in shape of heart and with knife I made leaf venation. For smaller pieces I have used thick bag to stretch fondant on. I brushed each bead for caterpillar with some water so that they will stick better onto each other. Horns were made from toothpick. When I was placing flowers onto cake, I brushed each side that was going on the cake with some water. 2 cm of excess from flower handles I tucked under the cake to make sure those flowers would not fall down.
Black parts (the dotted ladybug, horns, eyes, etc) you can accomplish this with black color and little brush.

Umutiti 10 žumanaca sa 200 gr šećera. U umućena žumanca dodati 200 gr mlevenih oraha koje smo pre toga pomešali sa 2 kašike kakaa. Umutiti i šne od 10 belanaca pa polako sjediniti sa predhodnom smesom. Sipati u pleh od rerne obložen papirom za pečenje i peći na 180 °C. Isto ovako napraviti i drugi patišpanj.
Čokoladni fil: Šećer i žumanca staviti na tihoj vatri da se kuvaju. Skloniti sa šporeta i dodati na kockice izlomljenu čokoladu. Mešati dok se sva čokolada ne istopi,pa dodati i mleko. Ostaviti na stranu da se ohladi. Umutiti slatku pavlaku,pa sjediniti sa ohlađenim filom od čokolade.
Beli fil: Umutiti slatku pavlaku,pa dodati kremfix. U dobro umućenu slatku pavlaku staviti i mlevenu plazmu.
Na prvi patišpanj premazati fil od čokolade,pa staviti malo u frižider da se stegne. Zatim naneti i beli fil,pa staviti i drugi patišpanj. Beli fil se malo teže nanosi, jer je u početku gušći zbog plazme.
Tortu ukrasite po želji, a ako hoćete da je ukrasite kao ja,onda morate da sačekate drugi recept :)
Choco cake
Ingredients for two cake layers:
20 eggs
400 gr of sugar
400 gr of grounded walnuts
4 tablespoons of cocoa
Chocolate filling:
300 gr of milk chocolate
50 ml of milk
6 egg yolks
6 tablespoons of sugar
400 ml of sweet whipping cream
White filling:
500 ml of sweet cream
2packages of cream stabilizers ( Whip It)
100 gr of grounded biscuits
Mix 10 egg yolks with 200 gr of sugar. Add 200 gr of ground walnuts which you combined with 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Also whip up egg whites and incorporate into this mixture. Pour batter into baking pan lined with parchment paper and bake at 180 °C.Follow same process for the other cake layer.
Chocolate filling: Mix sugar with egg yolks and cook on low temperature. Remove from heat and add chocolate chunks. Stir till chocolate completely melts then add milk. Set aside.
Whip up heavy cream and incorporate with cooled chocolate filling.
White filling: Whip up heavy cream and add cream stabilizer. When whipped and thick add ground biscuits (plazma). Spread chocolate filling on first cake layer then place in fridge till it hardens a bit.Top it with white filling then place second cake layer on top of it. Decorate as desired.
Danas smo proslavili 7. rođendan mog mlađeg sina Davida. Još odavno je bio izrazio želju da mu torta bude grad, sa zgradama. Nisam se nešto baš proslavila kao građevinac, ali je bitno da se klincima svidela torta i da su tražili dodatak :)
Uspela sam koliko toliko da slikam postupak pravljenja. Nisam uspela sve zato što su mi skoro dva dana ruke bile ubazane sa raznim bojama i prosto mi je bilo žao aparata da ga uzmem u ruke, jer i onako je skoro non stop umazan sa brašnom :lol:
Ovo je moj prvi susret i rad sa gum pastom,ako ne računam one cvetiće sa moje rođendanske torte. Mada se gum pasta u većini slučajeva koristi za cvetove,listiće i druge slične stvari, jer može odlično da se rastanji, ja sam je iskoristila za iglo i pingvine. Možete je naručiti kod Eurowilta,pakovanja su od 250 gr. Inače,meni je samo za iglo otišlo jedno pakovanje,a za pingvine drugo.
Kada sam krenula da pravim iglo,odmah sam se našla u dilemi koju činiju da iskoristim za njega i naravno ko po običaju ni jedna nije odgovarala. Ili su bile male ili velike ili im oblik baš nije bio odgovarajući i tako na kraju kada sam već počela da gubim nadu setila sam se dečje lopte letos kupljene na odmoru :)
Uzela sam jednu manju činiju kao postolje,loptu ubacila u nju, a onda je premazala sa uljem.
Tu sam se malo prevarila, jer se pasta na par mesta zalepila za loptu,pa sam morala da zovem muža u pomoć da ispumpamo loptu kada sam htela da skinem iglo. Znači,obavezno loptu obložite sa aluminijumskom folijom da vas ne boli glava kao mene :)
Pastu sam razvukla sa oklagijom (oko 25 cm ),prebacila preko lopte i rukama je malo oblikovala.
Sa čašom sam ocrtala prvi krug,najmanji. Za svaki sledeći krug koristila sam činije različitih veličina. Poprečne linije sam radila sa koncem.
Sa nožem sam isekla krajeve koji su bili višak i izravnjala sam koliko toliko. Tunel za iglo je bilo već lakše napraviti i mislim da za njega i ne treba neka posebna priča. Oklagija je odlično poslužila za njega :)
Sa bisernom bojom za kolače sam premazala iglo i ostavila na stranu da se suši.
Posle igla,krenula sam sa pingvinima. Svaki trup od pingvina je bio težak 16 gr,jer u želji da mi svi budu iste veličine,merila sam na vagicu. Trup je u obliku valjka,samo su ivice bile blago zaobljene. manji deo paste sam obojila naranđasto,napravila nogice. Na mestu gde se nogice lepe za trup sam sa četkicom nanela malo vode da bi se lakše zalepile. Od bele mase sam napravila krila,otprilike u obliku suze.
Glava od pingvina je bila veličina klikera. Tela a i glave sam stavila na čačkalicu, a onda te iste čačkalice zabola u stiropor koji mi je kasnije odlično poslužio.
Crnu prehrambenu boju u prahu sam rastovorila u vrlo malo vruće vode. Sa četkicom sam obojila krila i glavu i ostavila da se suši boja.
Napravila sam oči,kljun,kape,šalove...... i polako počela da kompletiram pingvinčiće.
Želela sam da se svi razlikuju i da imaju po neki interesantan detalj na sebi i mislim da sam uspela u tome :)
Viktorijino ime tj. slova su bila od čokolade. Ako se sećate divnog i praktičnog poklona od moje Secret Sante (Ivana hvala),tu su bili i razni kalupi, a među njima i za slova,tako da sam otopila čokoladu,izlila u kalupe i kroz minut već imala divna čokoladna slova.
Ovom prilikom želim da se zahvalim Grozdanki kod koje sam videla pingvinčiće.

I managed to make photos of a process for this cake. I didn’t manage to get all of them since my hands were colored from all different colors I used during preparation that I felt bad for camera to place it in my hands.
This is my first work with gum paste, if I don’t count the flowers I did for my birthday cakes. Since gum paste is ideal for making flowers, leaves and other decorations, since it can be thinned perfectly, I used it to make igloo and penguins. You may order pack of it (250 gr) from Eurowilton. For me one pack went into making igloo and the other for making penguins.When I started to make igloo I had a big problem trying to find a perfect bowl. Either they were too big or too small till I remembered kids ball that we bought on our vacation last summer. I used smaller bowl, placed a ball in it and coated with oil. Thisgot tricky since gum paste got stuck on the ball, and I had to call my husband to deflate the ball so that I could remove the igloo. So I highly recommend for you to wrap ball before hand with aluminum foil before placing paste. I rolled paste with rolling pin (around 25 cm in size), threw it over the ball and shaped it a bit with my hands.
With glass I marked first smallest circle. For all others I was using bowls different sizes. Vertical lines I made with help of a thread.
With knife I cut the excess of the paste and evened it out as much as I could. Tunnel for igloo was so much easier to make. Rolling pin did the job perfectly.
With silver shimmering color I brushed over finished igloo and placed it aside to dry.
Once I was done with igloo I started working on penguins. The body of the penguin was 16 gr in weight , since I wanted all of them to be the same I measured and weighted each one.The body was in shape of a tube, only egdes were slightly round. Smaller pieace of paste I colored orange and made feet. Before sticking legs onto body I brushed them with some water so it would stick better. From white mass I made wings in shape of a tear.
Head of pingving was in size of a marble . I placed head and body on a toothpick andI sticked them into styrofoam which served me wonderfully later. I dissolved black powdered color into little bit of hot water. With brush I colored wings and head and set it aside to dry.
I also made eyes, beak, scarves….. and slowly started to complete and form penguins.I wanted them to differ a bit so I made an interesting detail on them and I think I accomplished that well.
The letters were made of chocolate. I got a letter mold from my secret santa , so I just melted some chocolate, poured it into molds , and within a minute I hade amazing chocolate letter.
Danas smo proslavili 3.rođendančić i ovo je Viktorijina tortica :)
Dva dana je gledala kako joj pravim pingvine i tortu i moram da je pohvalim da je bila jako strpljiva. Ali zato, čim je ugasila svećicu,zgrabila je pingvinčića sa zeleno-crnim šalom i u slas ga pojela :)
