Pripremljeno, odmrznuto lisnato testo razviti oklagijom na pobrašnjenoj radnoj površini. Uzeti pleh za tortu kome je prečnik 22-24 cm, prisloniti ili preklopiti testo sa plehom i oko pleha iseći krug. Pažljivo prvi krug oklagijom prebaciti u pleh pripremljenim za pečenje. Isto tako napraviti i od druge polovine lisnatog testa,ali se od ovog drugog kruga, vadi još jedan manji krug koji će biti poklopac, tako da od njega dobijamo prsten i poklopac.
Ivice testa u plehu premazati sa umućenim jajetom i na njega staviti novi krug koji liči na prsten. Najmanji krug isto staviti na pleh,ali posebno. Oba premazati sa jajetom i ispeći u zagrejanoj rerni na 200 °C.
