Jaja umutiti sa šećerom, vanilin šećerom,a onda staviti da se kuva na pari. Pri kraju kuvanja dodati 100 gr čokolade. Skloniti na stranu da se fil ohladi. Posebno izmiksati margarin i onda ga dodati u prohlađen fil. Sa polovinom fila premazati patišpanj i urolatti ga. Od rolata koso iseći jedno parče i taj kosi deo prisloniti uz rolat da formira kao drvo. Istopiti 200 gr čokolade i dodati u drugu polovinu fila, a onda dodati i krupno seckane orahe. Sve dobro promešati, da se fil izjednači a onda sa njim premazati neravnomerno tortu. Možete na kraju i sa viljuškom da pređete. Ukrasite sa žele bombonama ili nekim drugim cvetićima, listovima,pečurkicama...
Patišpanj možete da radite i od 10 jaja,zavisno od toga koliko vam je veliki pleh.
Cake:
8 eggs
8 tablespoons of sugar
8 tablespoons of flour
Filling:
5 eggs
15 tablespoons of sugar
3 vanilla sugars
300 gr of chocolate
1 margarine
100 gr chopped walnuts

Whisk eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar, and place it in the double boiler to cook. Cook till cream becomes thick. Towards the end of cooking add 100 gr of chocolate. Stir and remove from heat and let it cool. Separately beat butter into smooth texture, and then add it to cooled custard cream.Spread half of the cream on cake and roll in. Roll the cake from the long side into a cylinder and let cool completely. From rolled cake cut off one end diagonally and attach it to opposite side of the log to resemble a branch. Melt 200 gr of chocolate and add it to one half of the cream, then add chopped walnuts. Stir all together then frost the entire log cake, and using the tines of a fork or a knife, create lines in the frosting to resemble bark. Decorate with jelly candies, flowers, leaves, mushrooms or whatever you may like.
